About Footner
Footner Electrical + Civil Services is a commercial and industrial electrical contractor based in Port Augusta, South Australia. The business provides electrical installations, maintenance, upgrades and project support for commercial, industrial and regional clients. Footner is operated by Lachlan Footner and focuses on delivering practical, safe and compliant electrical work for commercial operations.
Commercial Electrical Focus
Footner's work is focused on commercial and industrial electrical contracting. This includes new installations, maintenance programmes, switchboard upgrades, lighting projects, compliance testing and backup power works. The business is set up to work alongside builders, project managers, facility managers and commercial operators — not to chase domestic work. This focus means clients get a contractor who understands commercial project requirements, programme pressures and operational constraints.
How We Work
Communication
Clear communication before, during and after works. Clients are kept informed and issues are raised early.
Safety
Electrical work is carried out safely and in accordance with applicable requirements. No shortcuts.
Quality
Installations are completed to a standard that reflects the commercial environment they serve.
Planning
Commercial projects require coordination. Footner works to programme requirements and coordinates with other trades and site management.
Reliability
Commitments are kept. If something changes, clients are told promptly.
Regional South Australia
Port Augusta is a practical base for supporting commercial and industrial projects across regional South Australia. Footner can mobilise for projects in Port Augusta and the broader region. Regional project work requires additional planning and logistics — Footner understands what is involved in delivering quality electrical work outside metropolitan centres.
